Question about a feature in future version

Is there any estimate on when 2.0 will be released? Also, I read somewhere on here, that a future version on Zen Cart would have something similar to the "using one single listing template" mod where we would not have to change every different area like Specials, Featured Products, etc but that you could make one change and it changed all. Is this true of the 2.0 release? Thanks!:smile:

Thanks Stevesh! I searched that area but missed that thread. Yep, it looks like it will be there. I see it says don't ask about a release date. So scratch that! :P I'm guessing it's still a bit off since no current talk about it and no talk about Beta. Shame because I'm starting a store from scratch real soon, including creating a custom template, and was hoping to have 2.0. Looks like I shouldn't wait! :( But, good luck Zen Cart team. I'm sure many can't wait for the big release. :smile:

In the meantime there is at least one addon that can be used to make the listings all look the same.

Yeah, I have been following the mod thread. It's a big mod compared to others with prereqs. :shocking: But, yes at least there's something. Thx Kim!
