Missing payment option on payment module.

I am setting up Zen Cart for a client (Small part of the project. The only part I am not experienced in).

They have a hatred of Pay Pal. They only want to do offline credit card processing.

I tried to follow these instructions.

1. Go to Admin->Modules->Payment
2. Click on Credit-Card
3. Click on Install

Step one works great. When I get to step 2, there is no Credit-Card to click on.

Any advice on what I am doing wrong?

I have a fresh install, no mods.

Zen Cart 1.3.9c
Database Patch Level: 1.3.9c
v1.3.9c [2010-05-21 07:52:01] (Fresh Installation)
v1.3.9c [2010-05-21 07:52:01] (Fresh Installation)

admin -> configuration -> credit cards

make sure the types you want are set to one.

also ensure the module is set in

admin -> modules -> payment

the cc module should show a green dot, if not edit and enable

Thanks for the help. If you will look at the screen shot, there is no CC module. I may be blind and missing it. I have been awake on this project for two days. If you see the CC module on my screen shot, please let me know.

looks like its missing,

check to ensure the cc module is uploaded as it should be there by default, if you have no modifications it might be prudent to do a full upload of zencart.

this is off the top of my head as I am not near a comp with a copy of zencart.

includes/modules/payment/cc.php
includes/languages/english/modules/payment/cc.php

Offline CC processing module has been removed in 1.3.9c version because this module isnt PCI compliant.

However, you can upload it on your own risk from previous version to new site:clap:

CC module no longer with Zen Cart 1.3.9c. You can get it from Zen Cart 1.3.8a.

Thanks for the help Now I know I am not going crazy. I understand why the Zen Cart people would turn the feature off. It scares be a bit as well. To be completely honest, Part of me does not like the idea of credit card information on the internet in any form.

Does anyone know why the credit card radio button isn't appearing on the checkout page under the "We Accept..."?

A customer is trying to process payment for an order.

I am using the latest version of ZenCart, have checked that all the settings are correct and even reset the credit card selections but still no way for the customer to select payment by credit card.
