slow store

Hi,

I am experiencing very slow access to the store, both the fornt-end (public), and the back-end (admin), any idea on what can cause this?
I can navigate the site pages that are not on Zen-Cart with ease, and in normal access time.
I have basically two stores on the same domain, in two directories:
http://www.editricebahai.com/libreria/ (still on v1.3.8)
http://www.editricebahai.com/opinioni/ (v1.3.9)

Thank you

Re: slow store

I have just accessed your link(s) from a reasonably slow and remote Aussie country connection and in my opinion your page was loading quite ok.

It may be worth awaiting the reports of other fellow zenners.

Re: slow store

Thanks, hopefully it was/is a temporary slow-down.

Re: slow store

I'll try again from my usual (fast) connection when I'm back home in a few days. I will have a better judgment from my home PC.

Judging by this test your site is doing just fine - might be just a connection problem from your own PC

Re: slow store

aye its a good link.. my hosts gave it to me when i thought they was being crap... i had a slow site for weeks... they did lots of tests and narrowed the problem to my a thing/point/router my ISP were using in london.

gave me a link to a hosting forum on how pants Virgin Media were being sorting this problem out, then they gave me that link to test my site when it 'looked' offline or slow

Re: slow store

Thank you.

Looks like it was a temporary issue, I'll keep monitoring thru the suggested tool.

Re: slow store

Thank you for stepping in Kim, I meant really slow, more than a minute, and with time-outs, but like said it must have been a temporary issue due to the isp, though they keep saying it's all ok ...

Right now the pages load in 3-5 seconds average with my adsl connection.
