probs setting up recorded, special and outside UK postal rates

hey all
wondered if anyone can help.
i am wanting to set my postal charges to the following:
2 price bands for UK
Recorded - for items under £41
Special - for items over £41

2 price bands outside UK
for items under £41
for items over £41

i have read through the FAQ's & tutorials and through this forum but am stuck.
i am not very technically minded.
Can anyone give any advice please?

It have tried it out and it is well-designed... BUT... if you have tinkered with the country and zone ID's it can throw things out.

It is best installed on a FRESH installation, and I believe it also works better if you have FIRST put KevPolley's UK-Template into the shop.

If I were you, I'd set up a fresh TEST installation of 1.3.9c, do the install along with the UK-Template, and then install Big Royal Mail.

thanks for that schoolboy. i did mention i was technically abit thick!!
does the Big Royal Mail module work on price per weight of unit of each unit if you get what i mean!!??
and not sure how to set up a fresh test installation but will have a look through the forum to see if i can work that out

You can do fresh installation using XAMPP on local machine or on your domain.

I have used this module and it works staight out of the box. The prices are pre-defined but it hasnt been updated since 2008 i think so you would have to do this yourself.
