How to modify BestSeller Box by self?

cause my zen cart website i disabled the ''add to cart'' function so that the system doesnt know if i sold an item or not. but i manually did a record by myself. and now my problem is i hope to set the product which selling the best in my ''bestseller'' section. can anyone teach me how to do so? pls

The "best-seller" module (sidebox) works on a pretty complex system of seeing which products have been sold, and then it compiles the list based on this data. Trying to "edit" this functionality is not advised.

You have 2 "easier" options>

1. Use the BLANK SIDEBOX add-on and "construct" your list manually.

2. Temporarily re-instate the checkout and put through a load of dummy orders on the products you would like featured, applying QUANTITY values to your order in the same sequence you want the "best sellers" to appear in the sidebox.

So, If you want product "A" at the top of the list, put through an order for 1000 units of that product. If "B" is to be next in the list, put through an order for 990... for "C" 980... etc.
