Admin > Edit Order Suddenly Blank!

Hi All,
We have been in the admin all morning with no problems. Out of the blue, going to edit an order the page below the header is blank now. In the source it ends with a <tr> tag.

This is 1.3.8a with the next level admin, admin permissions and many other modifications. All files are the same as they were lastweek, yesterday, early this morning. Just basically blank when editing an order.

What in the world would cause this???

UPDATE**

As it turns out, this only happens with CC paid orders. GCO, PPal and check/money order all Edit just fine.

FIXED***

Yesterday evening I had removed a front-side payment module file issued by our gateway. There were two identical files, one in inc/lang/eng/mod/pmt and then again in inc/lang/eng/mod/pmt/ourTemp

I removed the non over ridden file and everything worked fine. Apparently the admin is relying on defines from that non overridden file and when it's not there, bad things happen. I have replaced the file and everything is back to normal.
