zencart v1.3.8 vs php5.3?

my host camelot host announce that they'll upgrade all server to php5.3, i'm using zencart 1.38a , without any addon, if i don't upgrade to 1.39, will i still able to use thet cart after they change the server to php5.3? thx

NO.

It will fail with "Error. PHP function: ereg is deprecated" errors and will be completely unusable until you upgrade the ZenCart files to the 1.3.9 version.

Whilst that will eliminate any php 5.3 errors your best option is to upgrade to 1.3.9 for several other reasons explained in the changelog. Camelot hosting should be able to give you some assistance if you get stuck.

Yes Camelot Announced today that we will be upgrading all servers to 5.3 on July 15th ( 6 weeks away )
