Page refresh changes page size?

Good day to all,

Currently I have a CUSTOM template cloned from the Classic Contemporary Green template, fairly new install of 1.3.9c, no addons.

Opportunity: Each time I refresh the page it changes its vertical size, is this normal or is this due to the Zen Cart Ad at the bottom of the page, or some other setting?
I would prefer it stay a static vertical size.

I have looked thru the forum and have not found any comments about this.

Thanks ahead for your input and suggestions. I am sure this is a easy one for you guru's. :-)

The pages are dynamic and will change (vertical size) to hold the content provided for any given page.

less content = a shorter page
more content = a longer page

Let me try it this way, when you are on the below main page and hit refresh the page changes vertical height and also photos and banner boxes change when you repeatedly hit refresh.
I understand that depending on the amount of content on any other given page that that specific pages vertical height should change, I have seen ZC live stores that you can hit refresh on the main page and they do not change content and or vertical size.

Again I am only talking about the main index page not any other pages. How do I make this static?

I looked the the two links you provided.

refreshed the page about 30 times and didn't experience the behavior you mention.

The page remained the same size no matter how many times it was refreshed.

Interesting, I to checked on 2 other computers a laptop and desktop, using Opera, Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and the bottom of the page elongates with each F5 refresh. and the temp photos I have change in the sideboxes, I am sure its user error!

Thanks, I just went into the Banner Manager, and turned off 3 of the zencart banners. A wide banner and two of the sidebox-Banners. This has stop at least on my computers from the original ZC logos loading when I hit refresh, the ZC logo and my images were transposing (bad description sorry)
It appears that I have missed something somewhere, I uploaded the temporary skater images into my custom template (right location checked 3 times) and the 3 Banner Manager banners listed above were was still on.

Anyways on my end the page do not change vertical size now due to the fact that I turned off those 3 banner modules.
