Formating not working on product listing page

I used a mozilla plugin to identify the class of the attributes on the product listing page so that i could format them with a yellow background which i did.

However the formating hasn't made any changes but has worked on the product info page.

Here is the product listing page:

What i don't understand is why it would work on one but not the other.

Zencart strips HTML from the product listing.

You'll have to make the changes in product_listing.php described here:

Perhaps there is a separate class definition (using same class name) for the Product Listing?

This may be the case as it appears you are using a custom or third party template.

Try adding your background color in:

#productAttributes
```instead. This will make the whole box around the attribute options the same color on ALL pages with attributes. And personally, I think it will look better than the yellow "stripes" you've got, now.

I changed the productAttributes which changed the background colour of the attributes area, but i was specifically wanting to change the background of the individual rows and so i think i will have to modify the productlisting page it's self.
