Order status after receive payment

My version is 1.3.8a
My capture was working correctly until I switched to PayPal Pro. When I capture the sale (when customer is using a credit card), it pops back into "Received". I am not finding any solution, Can anyone give me any advice?

I set my payment module to "Processing" for when we take the Payment. When I do this all orders that come in, are coming in as Processing - not Received or Pending as they should be. Any Recommendations? What am I missing???
