Turning on 'Button' or 'Link' to show just 'New Products'

Is there a place I can turn on a "New Products" link on the main page in the same area where the Site Map, Shipping & Returns etc. are? Thank you.

I have 1.3.8a. I have read thru the manual and thru the forums so I am missing it if it's there.

Not sure about getting it the information sidebox, but you can put it in the category sidebox in Admin\Configuration\Layout Settings\ Categories Box - Show Products New Link . Set this to True.

Hope this helps
