New products for *month*

Hi everyone,

With the "New products for June" or whatever month it happens to be, is there some way I can move it on my home page so my text goes below it?

Sure. You would just take a copy of the tpl_index_default.php template in the template_default, place it in your template and then edit the copy to change the order in which the items are output.

Actually, I thought I had it figured now, but I'm a bit confused...which part exactly am I moving? I don't really understand php, its a bit confusing! Where does the code start and finish, if you get what I mean? Like, do I start from

or I don't know..I'm just confused lol. I had a play around with it and I managed to get the box where I wanted, but then the text below repeated itself about 4 times?

There's a loop in that template, so it sounds as though you have found the text bit OK, but moved it inside the loop so that it's run every time round.

The place to found it is almost to the end of the file after the loop has finished, i.e. as shown below

I'm stil a little bit confused - I know the bit you're talking about, it's at the end of the template, but what am I supposed to be putting in there? I didn't touch that part at all when I was playing around with it earlier. Arghhh confused...

Whatever bit you moved to display the text that is now being shown 4 times should go where indicated, rather than where you put it.
