How to show new content at the bigining not the end.?

Hello every one I have a big problem my store is growing but all new content goes to the end and customers see only old content how I can tell the script to show new content at the beginning of the list. Please. help.

What do you mean with new and old content and what list are you talking about? thank you for answering my problem is these I add new products every week to the shopping cart lets said under the section hand bags but I haven't found the way to show the new bags at the beginning of the list the new bags show at the end of the list and because I have over 100 different bags customers only see the old bags in the list and those to them may be out of dates so I would love them to see lets said the new guest bags in the list that are at the end like 20 pages down the road.
Please help they think I'm not updating .

That help a lot do let me tell you what is my real problem
I have categories
Like black hand bags
brown hand bags
etc.

and the they all are add it to the site these way .
black-1
black-2
black-3

but now I'm like in black-356.
I need the black-356 to be at the beginning of the list because is the last item add it to the site but the site shows at the beginning of the list in the category black-1

How I tell the script to show in the category the lattes items first. not the first item I add 4 years ago.
