Checkout & Log-in Page

I am in need of an expert to see if this can be done or if it modifies core files.

I have FEC installed to give me one page checkout, but still gives me extra confirm page before going to Paypal. And there is log-in page.

I would like to have one page that combines the log-in, checkout details, etc and then go to Paypal. That includes purchasing as a guest without an account. I know that there is COWOA. Tried to load it and finally ended up backing everything out. Before trying it again..I wanted to know if this can be done - so I can pay someone to do it.

The example is located here - See example site to model after: https://www.renuriche.com/store/index.php?dispatch=checkout.checkout. You have to put something in shopping cart and continue. You can see where steps 1 opens up with three ways to purchase, etc and all on one page.

Can that be done with Zencart?

Thanks, Kim

Re: Checkout & Log-in Page

I guess I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. The site you referenced (which has some SSL problems) displays pretty much what a stock Zencart installation displays when Checkout is clicked: Login for existing customers - Create an Account - or Checkout without Account if a COWOA mod is installed.

The FEC mod has two options that need to be set to True for One-Page Checkout to work - if the second isn't set to true, you just get Fast and easy Checkout which still requires a separate Confirmation page.

Was it the FEC COWOA function you had problems with?

I think you just answered another question I was trying to figure out!! My FEC does have second page confirmation that I am trying to figure out how to get rid of it....page lags for about 2-3 seconds and then diects to Paypal...customer does not have time to digest information. I have had several ask me questions about it. I posted question in FEC forum, but no answer yet. I could not find it when I did search.
Which two options need to be set to true?

Other item - the example site has the login, new acct, COWOA (they call it guest) all on one page with other details from checkout page. It eliminates the login page. Therefore, taking another page out.

I tried to get COWOA to work. Had lots of problems. Looks like I am going to have to pay someone to install and debug.

Thanks, Kim
