Please help, newbie user, multi categories

Hi, had my website completly revamped by web designers, just looking through the manual, but can't see what I am looking for.

I have items that are in multiple cats, not sub cats, but main cats, i need to change some of the products out of certain cats and also when adding new products need to add these to more than one cat.. how on earth do I do this?

Note that this applies to a standard install of Zen. Generally custom templates don't mess around with the admin functions, however, not sure about yours.

The first rule is categories can contain sub-categories or products, but not both, so you have to decide which way you want to organize your listings.

You can move products in admin\catalog\categories/products. Select the purple M(Move) on the right and you'll get a menu choice as to where you want it to go.

You can link products to multiple categories or sub-categories in the same spot, just select the navy C(copy to) and select where you want it to go.

BTW, you should look into resizing your images (file size, not dimension). Your home page is pretty big.
