How to change checkout email text?

I want to change the email msg sent to a customer after ordering. I have changed the text in email_template_checkout.html but the old msg is still appearing. What files do I need to change?

Thanks. I was able to easily locate the module and make the desired changes. Thanks for showing me how to fish, not just giving me an answer.
