Wordpress links broken, customer messed with the index.html

Hey All,

Websites ability to open wordpress articles from the left side wp banner is gone. Customer messed with the index.html by adding content directly into it. When a wp link is clicked the proper wp page link appears in the nav bar but doesn't load, instead the index page pops up again. It seems like the html content is blocking the wp articles from populating the center box, thoughts?? Please help, thanks. The sites EZPages links haven't been effected and open in the center box just fine. Any thoughts about where the problem could lie??? The sites SEO is falling off a cliff since it happened, and i don't know exactly what was done other than some novice html content generation. Sadly, I'm not a zc expert yet, but can solve my problems if steered in the right direction.

It also seems that the new index.html page is static and unchanging...changes to to admin settings for all aspects of the site work on all pages except the index.html page. Seems like it's a free-standing copy of a past php generated page.

This probably happens allot, please advise, need help asap??

Re: Wordpress links broken, customer messed with the index.html

My Apologies,

Fixed it, was an easy fix.

Remove index.html from site, uploaded main page center box content through Tools>Define Pages Editor>define_main_page

Duh
