No, there isn't. If they load your pages, the browser loads the images to the visitor's computer, too.

yes, but on some websites, it isn't (somehow) possible to right-click (cntrl-click) on an image and have it download... that's what I would like but have no idea how to do it /:b

Even with the block on the right click the images are still downloaded to the customer's computer and can be obtained via the temporary directories ... otherwise, they could not see the images in the browser ...

Also, that no-right-click thing is done with Javascript - all I have to do is disable Javascript in my browser and I can right-click to my heart's content.
New Zenner
how do you do the disable right-click thing?
this is what I wanted to know...

Just Google 'disable right-click' , but you're wasting your time, and if you ask a question here about a problem you're having on your site, most of the time we'll want to right-click on a page element for one reason or another, and won't bother if you've made it difficult for us.

ok, this is the code I found to disable right-click downloads:
<SCRIPT language=JavaScript> <!-- --> var message = "function disabled"; function rtclickcheck(keyp){ if (navigator.appName == "Netscape" && keyp.which == 3){ alert(message); return false; } if (navigator.appVersion.indexOf("MSIE") != -1 && event.button == 2) { alert(message); return false; } } document.onmousedown = rtclickcheck; </SCRIPT>but where does it go?
hopefully not on each and every image page...

Dont bother yourself with this. It is a pointless waste of time.
If I want an image off someones site, I go to the site, enlarge the pic and hit [FN] + [PRT SC]*** - and whatever is on my screen is now on the clipboard. I "paste" into MS Paint, crop, and save...
(***On many older computers, it's [ALT] + [PRT SC]... My 9 year old daughter figured this out for herself, so I reckon 95% of other savvy users do too. Certainly anyone who is building websites will know that).
Image Handler 2 has a WATERMARK feature that makes it very awkward for people to download and use images - because the watermark is extremely difficult to "airbrush" out...
If you disable right click, it is disabled for EVERYTHING...

If you want to waste your time that's fine.
The savvy ones amongst us can't be bothered working out how to do something completely pointless.

bbrace, I agree wholeheartedly that it's a pointless thing to add to your site. In fact it's annoying and crippling even for legitimate cases where people may need to right-click something on your site, such as a downloadable file you're offering. Disabling right-click in such cases will just frustrate your visitors and drive away sales.
But if you're bound and bent that you know better than the rest, you can add any javascript code to your site by following the posted procedures which are mentioned inside the /docs/ folder of your Zen Cart files and also online at http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.php/Customisation_-_Templates_-_Javascript
Again, strongly not recommended.
