Confusion about setting up for PayPal payments

Hello!

I am fairly new to the ZenCart and I have a lot of troubles setting my payment options. I have a business account on PayPal but I don't really know how to set everything up. There is a lot of stuff about that in FAQ area, but more I read the more confused I am, because there is so many of these things there about configuring PayPal. I just simply want my clients to be able to pay using their own PayPal, Credit Cards, and money transfer from the bank account.
Can somebody tell me, which of availble options I need to configure in order to receive money?

Oh, and BTW, did something like this ever happened to someone before?

I am using a firefox 3.6.3, it looked like that before but only on Safari, IE, Opera, Chrome, but I didn't care because I use Firefox mostly, but today when I logged in the issue was present on Firefox as well :|

Thanks for all help.

Re: Confusion about setting up for PayPal payments

I have to echo Chartkor's frustration. I too am having severe issues setting up paypal in the payments module. I have not found an FAQ or tutorial that resolves them. I'd be grateful if someone could just get me started.

For example, the tutorials start off telling you to go to Admin > Modules > Payment > Paypal

Which Paypal? I have 3 of them in my payment module screen?

PayPal Website Payments Standard - IPN
PayPal Website Payments Pro
PayPal Express Checkout

Like Chartkor, I have a Paypal business account. The final goal is getting it to accept Paypal, & Credit Card payments. As near as I can tell, I need to get it to accept Paypal payments 1st.

Thanks in advance for any hints, tips, or links you can provide that will help.

Re: Confusion about setting up for PayPal payments

So, to reword your post, you're basically wanting to know which of PayPal's products is best for your business? That's technically a question you should sort out with PayPal.
But, in the meantime, start with Express Checkout, since it's free and gives you the best of both worlds: PayPal payments AND credit card payments. You'll find links to Zen Cart setup instructions in your Zen Cart admin.

And you can find more information about PayPal's products/services at their website: https://www.paypal.com

Re: Confusion about setting up for PayPal payments

Just to confirm if I did not misunderstood you. After setting up PayPal express checkout my clients will be able to pay with both PayPal account and credit card in case they don't have PayPal account, is that right?

Re: Confusion about setting up for PayPal payments

Paypal Express will always go to Paypal - that's the way it works. Customers pay with a credit card on Paypal's site. Paypal Website Payments Pro is an on-site processor, but costs more.
