how to keep the images and layouts across screen types

Hello all, my problem is that when I view my site using different screen types and resolutions. the images move around and appear smaller relative to other objects on the screen..

How can I fix this, can I make the image relative to the screen and not a fixed size.

for example, My laptop screen is wider than my PC, so my image appear off when compared to the header and featured items on the screen.

The best that you can do is to make this a fized width layout versus a fluid or 100% width one

its the same stylesheet that was included with the original zc upload.
