Why can't I change my Title?

Why can't I change my Title?

I know how to change my title via the
the includes/templates/My_template/common/html_header and includes/llanguages/english/meta_tags.php

I was trying to insert the verification code and I did it all wrong, and now I can't seem to locate the file I added the verification code to so I can edit it back the way it should be.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Nevermind I was able to find where to change my title in the developer's tool kit in admin.

But I did mess up something else... I'm not sure what I did, but when I try to reach my website I get Programming Error HTTP 500

What do I do to get everything back to normal?
