Sage Payment Module broke after upgrade

Hi All,

I had a sage payment module (US version) working correctly in 1.3.8a. After upgrading to 1.3.9d, when there is an error during checkout, the payment error page is blank. :shocking:

I understand that there were some changes in 1.3.9 that broke payment modules. Could someone point in in the right direction to what changed and where I should look in payment module code to fix?

It's simple: You'll need to upgrade the payment module (ie: get the new version) to work with the new version of Zen Cart.

However, I did not notice any updates to this module in the add-ons. So, I thought, with a bit of guidance, I would do the updates and post to add-ons...

I assume you mean SAGEPAY? (Wasn't aware SagePay was in the US?).. or do you mean SAGE itself?

If SagePay then let me know which version of ZENCART and which Version of SagePay Mod you are using and I will help

This would be for Sage Payment Solutions ( https://www.sagepayments.com). From what I understand, Sagepayment is for USA, Sagepay is for UK. Sage Payment Solutions purchased Net1 gateway services awhile back. We are using a modified version of the ZC contrib Sage Payment Solutions Moduel by Jeramie Risinger for ZC 1.3.7.

It queries https://www.sagepayments.net/cgi-bin/eftbankcard.dll.

Well I'm in monthly meetings with SAGE (and SagePay) but that is a new one (never mentioned) to me. It's amazing how big that POND is ;)

I know how SagePay and ZC<>Sage work (quite happy with those) but this SagePayments would be a new one on me... From my experience mods talking with /cgi-bin/ dirs are always troublesome...

Yup, Sage(etc.) seems to have different flavors of services and corporate faces...if all of them are truly related.

BTW, the current module I have simply sends T_codes to the url I mentioned and returns a response via same. Error checking is based on return T_code.

All I really need to know is what changed in ZC payment code between 1.3.8 and 1.3.9d. I think I can fix from there.

Just a Note, I am working on getting this to work properly in 1.3.9. Not sure how long it will take me, but I have it working now in test mode and I am getting the responses that I should. I just want to make other changes to it as far as what gets done after processing. For example, even though it come back as Approved, it doesn't add it to the order as a payment. I'm also thinking that I would change it from being NET1 to Sage_Payment being as that is who does the processing now. I would have done this a long time ago had I ever looked to see that is was an option. We use MAS200 at work, also by Sage, and use them as our cc processor as well.

I had to modified the sage/net1 ZC contrib module to include additional error reporting and added various order, customer and trans id info since we download and import orders from our store in to an account system that also coms with sagepayment gateway.

I have uploaded it a while back but have not heard anything. You can download it from My Mods Site now if you want to.

I've tried download GTI_Customs Sage_Payments Module from his website but it will not download. I've also searched for it on Zen-Carts site but can't find it. It may be listed under a different name? Does anyone know where I could find this??
