Attribute error message
I have installed the attribute cross validation add on:

it's ace, it's really helping me get closer to how I want my site to behave. But can anyone help me with the error messages.
There is a text box that requires input if one of the attributes are selected, if the customer chooses the attribute but doesn't fill in the text then an error shows. But the text box vanishes, you have to go back in the browser for it to display again.
Can anyone help me stop the box vanishing, or see where I can add the text in the error message telling the customer to go back and try again?
