Is there a easy way to customize the homepage ?

As you know, there are many sucessful eshops such as amazon have complicated homepage.

how can I customize the homepage ? The homepage of my zen-cart itself is too simple dosen't attract the customers much.

You can begin customizing your homepage by looking for related mods in the free addons section. templates/your_template/common/tpl_main_page or templates/your_template/templates/tpl_index_default or templates/your_template/css/ stylesheet.css
are just a few examples to start editing your homepage, but there are plenty more, important is to know what you want to achieve.

Would you please recommend some template add-ons, free or premium. I don't mind paying some money. My only purpose is that I want to my shop looks like a website by big company rather than an individual small shop.

I don't know much about paid templates, but i do know you should stay away from template monster templates as they are hard to customize because they don't act as 'standard'.
If you would like some advice about free templates, you can find 104 of them here, all with support on this forum.

same here I am looking to make my zen cart as professional as possible with the best add ons... A good site that I would like to mimic is cellhut.com . . . the product listing and FOOTER is how I want my site.. Any help on this??? What FILES do I edit to get this effect?
