Fantastico De Luxe

I installed Zen Cart a while back on HostGator and Fantastico installed Zen-Cart 1.3.9d. Everything went well.

I installed ZC last week on another URL (owned by the same owner), dedicated server, and Fantastico installed version 1.3.9b.

I contacted HostGator and asked why they backed up to an earlier version. They said the earlier version was more stable. I think this answer was (swag) out of the air but, isn't Fantastico just a script? Why would someone back up to an earlier version, 1.3.9b, vs. 1.3.9d of ZC?

What a load of b.s. ... honestly, though you shouldn't use a one-click installer just for those reasons.

Thanks for the reply. There's another reason not to use one-click.

Live and learn. Just like when I did the one-click install on the second one, it used the same mySQL host and blew out the first database. Now I have two piles of crap.

GOOD GRIEF! I should have know better. Since I'm starting over on both installs, I'll get it right second time around.

Tnx agn. :( my bad.
