Products appearing in more than one category/sub-category

I would like some of my products to appear in more than one sub-category, but am unsure as to how the inventory control would work by doing this. That's to say, by having a product in more than one sub-category I'm obviously not increasing my stock, but I need to create an 'alias' so that it can appear in another sub-category. Would someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,

Re: Products appearing in more than one category/sub-category

Go to Catalog>Categories / Products

Find your product and select the "C" to copy ... then specify "link"

Thanks,
Ray

Re: Products appearing in more than one category/sub-category

You are most welcome. Normally, I'm the one asking questions. I'm glad I finally knew an answer. We use this to put items into our "bargain bin," as well as their "normal" location, as well as items that fit into multiple categories.

Thanks,
Ray
