Search bar in middle of a wrapper below header
Hi there, I am trying to have a search bar centered in a wrapper below the header in my site But the information I have found so far does not work. one method suggested that I move the search bar side box into the wrapper using this code:

position: relative;
top: 300px;
left: 650px;
width: 170px;
}
however that did not move anything. I would like the search bar to be located in its own horizontal bar right above the the side boxes and below the header. Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I have spent a lot of time wiht this issue and have had no success.
