Disk Space Hog?

Hi. I would like some suggestions for cleaning up disk space on several of my Zen Cart Sites. It seems that some of my sites (especially those that run Zen Cart) add more and more disk space over time even though the sites are not getting any larger (as far as inventory).

I am guessing that traffic logs, error logs, cache, etc. must be causing these sites to grow larger than the disk space allotment that I am providing (which initially turns out to be about half the allotment). Any suggestions as to which programs and/or files can be disk space hogs? If so, any suggestions as to how to empty or clean these files after an alloted time to keep the site clean? Is there a module that would help maintain this for my sites?

Since the disk space keeps growing but the sites do not, this has to be with certain types of maintence files, I just don't know which ones and whether or not I can delete cache files.

In the latest version of Zen Cart, there is a "Clean up old log files" option in Admin->Tools->Store Manager, which will take care of appropriate cleanup for you.
If you haven't upgraded, now would be a good time :blush:

Thank you. I do need to upgrade some of the stores. I had alot of cache files some from even two years ago! Then I had stat counter files from a long time also.

Yeah that came from Webalizer, AW Stats, and Latest Visitors in my Cpanel. Don't use these inefficient stat counters so I guess I need to disable these useless tools. If I recall both AW stats and Webalizer had old information that was outdated.
