1030 Got error 122 from storage engine - brand new install

I've just done a brand new installation with default settings. I get the following error on the bottom left banner:

"1030 Got error 122 from storage engine
in:
[select banners_id, banners_title, banners_image, banners_html_text, banners_open_new_windows, banners_url from banners where status = 1 and ( banners_group = 'SideBox-Banners') order by rand()]"

I get a similar error when I click on the payment module in admin:
"1030 Got error 122 from storage engine
in:
[show fields from authorizenet]"

I've searched the forum, and found that these errors are related to storage problems. My host assures me my account is setup properly and has plenty of disk space, as it's a new account.

Try going to MySqL Databases in CPanel (or whatever control panel your host uses) and run Repair Database on your Zencart DB.

Thank you, I tried that, but it did not fix it.

The database is brand new, I've only just created it and have not touched any setting.

Anything else you can suggest?
