When Importing Database, Cannot Login to Admin Anymore

I just moved my local site to a live server

I can login to the admin panel fine until I import the database from my local to the new database on the server. Once I do that, it keeps saying wrong username and password when i attempt to go to the admin panel.

Why is that and how can I fix it?

The database contains your admin username and password, so you'll need to use the admin username and password which you were using on your local, since after importing your local to the server your server now contains the data from your local.
