Center Category Title & Description

hey guys! just modifying some bits and bobs on this zencart install...

the guys that run it have asked me to center the title, picture & description for category pages....

ive managed to get the catergory image center, but i cant get the title ("Seeds") or description ("A choice range of seeds for both the beginner & experienced gardener.") center....

tried going thru the css and chaning various codes with no avail! any help wud be really great!

Add to the stylesheet:

#categoryDescription, #indexCategoriesHeading {text-align:center;}

Not all possible ids and classes are in the stylesheet by default.

Install the Firefox browser and the Web Developer plugin for Firefox. You can use those to see where in the stylesheet you change the styling of the various page elements.

Ctrl-Shift-Y will allow you to hover over a section of the page and see the class and id names for that section in the box at the top. The statements in the stylesheet that begin with # are id's and the ones that begin with dots are classes.

Ctrl-Shift-E will open the CSS editor and allow you to edit the stylesheet and see the changes in real time without changing anything permanently. A very handy tool.

that worked perfectly on 2 ofthe catergories matey but not the "Wild Bird Seed" category?

any ideas? i put in the templates css stylesheet!

Because you don't have any subcategories in that category.

#productListHeading, #indexProductListCatDescription {text-align:center;}

Try that tool I suggested - you'll like it, and you won't have to wait for an answer.
