Please Help: Specials and SaleMaker not working!

Hi,

Whenever i try to use either Specials or SaleMaker modules, everything works except when I enter dates (through the built-in calendar) I always get the start and end dates as 30/11/2036 :(

I have tried everything I could but it does not work.

Is it possible the problem is occurring because of the British date format I have used? The DD/MM/YYYY format is working fine everywhere. If it is I have not changed the date format that have to do with Specials and SaleMaker, which file(s) should I be looking for?

Thanks a lot for the help. Yes, the locales were not set to UK and it is now working.

Only, I now have a new problem :P

I have one product that I have put in specials with a new price that is 100 currency units less. This product has color options. The specials price is displayed with the original price crossed but when I add the product in the cart, it is adding at the same original price!

Can't figure out where the problem might be.
