how do I adjust the mainwrapper height?

i went to css added "height: 640px;" to the mainwrapper but the height would not adjust just the width part is working what is causing this problem and where can i adjust the height.

It's not a problem, it's just that forcing a certain page height is more difficult than that.

i was given a reponse by stevesh, which did not work at all. He told me to go look at a specific forum and read it, which i did. I added in the following as it was instructed on the thread and nothing.

I am looking to adjust the mainwrapper height, i added in the height: 522px; cause that is the specific height i want it to be, but nothing happen. the mainwrapper width is the only feature that works, and i adjusted to the specific width i wanted.

Can someone please give me clearer instructions to what i need to do adjust the height to 522px.

i replaced the head_bg with a my own header_bg

than i replace the background-color with a background-image called body_bg which the height of that is 522px, the body_bg has the other half of the logo on it.
