Home Page lost while upgrade

Hello, I just upgraded my zen cart store from 1.3.8 to 1.3.9. Everything went fine.

But I have lost some parts of my home page, for example, stuff such as Congratulations! You have successfully installed your Zen Cart™ E-Commerce Solution....show up...

Also lost the title of my store.

Can anyone help me how to get back my original home page to what it was earlier.

did you upgrade to a new folder or overwrite your existing site with the new fileset for 1.3.9d?

Make sure your custom template is selected in the admin.

Yes it is. I checked it again and again.

when you say you have lost the title of your store, do you mean the header graphic or the store name?

i asked earlier whether you had carried out the upgrade in a new folder, i asked this, as if you have dumped your files over your existing site then you might have overwritten some that where define parts of your site.

check that you have an index.php in your /includes/languanges/english/customfolder and that the contents of this file are as how you want it. Same goes for header.php if you mean the graphic has changed when you mention title of your store
