How to set unlimited quantity for a downloadable product?

Hi,

I want to use Zen Cart to sell my software. I am almost done configuring it and the last remaining thing is "Product Quantity". Is there some easy way to set unlimited quantity for a product and hide "units in stock" note from product description. I know that this can be done by easy mods, just want to make sure the mods are needed here before I start.

Also thanks for the great software! I've gone through maaany shopping carts already and only now it seems I've found the functionality I need. I haven't yet finished playing with "Downloadable Products" but it seems that with Zen Cart I'll finally be able to configure them properly.

I think I've managed to get a step closer to finding the solution, I've set "Check stock level" and "Subtract stock" to false and I believe that does the trick. Now I only need to hide "units in stock" on the product page.

Hm... actually never mind, managed to find this in Admin -> Catalog -> Product Types -> Product General. Sorry for the troubles!

NOTE: Downloads do not track on Stock unless configured incorrectly to be Virtual Products ...

You will want to set the quantity higher than your Low Level stock value, if you do track stock on your Physical Products ...
