database password not accepted during install

Where do I find the data table structure changes from ZC 1.3.9b to 1.3.9d.

I think I found the answer in the 1.3.9d install Docs. No database changes is the answer. I could not find the Docs on-line. I found them in the download.

The question is/was; are there any database changes between versions 1.3.9b and 1.3.9d?

What I REALLY want to do:
I am having a problem doing a manual install of 1.3.9d. The ISP tech support can not find the problem. The ISP has a one-click of 1.3.9b. Can I do the one-click install of 1.3.9b, save the config.php, remove the 1.3.9b software, FTP the 1.3.9d software up to the server, then put the config.php file back in place?

If I remember correctly there is an entry in the database that keeps the version number.

So THAT is the real problem. Care to elaborate on what exactly that problem is?

We don't know what the problem is. Using the correct, database, name and password, the zc_Install says it can not access the database to complete the install. The ISP even tried it and no luck. Yet, the one-button install works. The problem is the one-button install has been rolled back to 1.3.9b and not 1.3.9d. Kinda scary to think the data connection is flaky. huh?

I have some other carts on this ISP and they are working fine. I will give this one a good workout before we go live.

One of the things this owner has done is host several domains as sub-domains of another domain. Why,.. I don't know. I ask him to reset them as fully hosted domains with their own cPanel. This was completed a few days ago and I think that has something to do with todays problem.

When I used That information it worked. Only the password was different.

cPanel was jacking with the password. All of the information was the same but the password had been changed to a generated password.

Originally, when I set up the database I manually entered a password. This password was being ignored and a generated password was being set from within cPanel. Of course, I did not know this so I was trying to use the password I typed in the database setup. I guess I should have said generate a password then used that one.

When I used the one-click install a generated PW was used and ZC install was successful.
