Deleted Category/ Button still goes to old path, how to change?

Hi All, first time posting and I thank you for any help I can get.

I just set up my website- https://www.guardianemergencygear.com and I deleted the pre filled information that came with the template, all the categories and products. I added my own categories and some products and edit the images. I was able to edit the images from the scrolling categories buttons at top- e.g- Earthquake icon, hurricane icon, biohazard icon... however I cant seem to link them to the Categories I made for them. They still go to the old path that was originally there. Any way to edit the path so it goes to my new Categories for them?

Go to your Admin Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom input box type:
carouse

See where the code is that builds that box ... it looks like your categories_id were hard coded and are not generated dynamically with changes to your site ... :unsure:
