a few issues with new install of 139d

I hope I am posting this in the correct section. If not, please excuse me and move to the correct section.

Here are my issues:
I just installed 139d fresh and did a mysql database restore which basically restored all of my customers and such.

I have SSL running from my HOSTGATOR account and when I installed the zencart, I also made sure I had on the SSL options.

  1. I noticed that the ADMIN panel is not making any edits such as when using the "define_pages editor, when I click on SAVE, it doesnt actually save the changes that I made.

  2. I cant add any items to the store at all.

  3. In templates, I tried to choose another one from the pulldown menu and it didnt take the change that I made.

I didnt' test anything else as it is late here and I have been messing with this for many hours.

If someone can PLEASE help me with what can be causing these issues, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for you answers and help!

So, you're saying that after doing an upgrade all your admin edits don't save?
