Disable Customer Registration?

Hello,

Is there a way to disable customer registration for my store altogether?

Actually, there are a couple of mods which simulate Checkout Without Account. Search the Free Software Add Ons for 'COWOA' and 'Fast and Easy'.

COWOA seems to work quite nicely but is there a way to make it so that registering for my store is not even an option at all?
