layout issue with gift card page

I am trying to move a button and need to create a new <div>. All of my product pages have an add to cart button and all except the gift card page have a Quantity field.

The add to cart button uses the same <div> on all pages. So, if add a left margin to fix the gift card page, all of the other product pages are negatively affected.

So, what I need to do, is create a unique <div> for the add to cart button on the gift card page. The only problem is, I cannot find the file that I need to open and edit. I don't know what it is called and I've tried the Developers Tool Kit to no avail.

Here is the link to the gift card page,

http://greenostrich.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=16

and the link to one of my product pages:

http://greenostrich.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=142

Any ideas how I can find the file that is pulled to create the three buttons on this gift card page?

As usual, all help is greatly appreciated.

Re: layout issue with gift card page

OR... Go to the readme file in the css folder of the classic template and use that to create a specific stylesheet for the GC page. It will only need one call.

BTW it's not a good idea to use the classic template to customize your site. Your next upgrade will be a nightmare.

Re: layout issue with gift card page

I see that the you can do a stylesheet based on page name. However, what would I call the stylesheet. Would I use the entire url of the page or product id number or something else?

I know about the updates and upgrade nightmares. Unfortunately, I came in midstream, so this is what I have to deal with. I just save a copy of each file on my laptop so that if I ever need to upgrade, I can upload the files, and put them in the correct place.

Re: layout issue with gift card page

The gift card is not a page but a product. Therefore, the line on the product's info page of the readme would apply.

Re: layout issue with gift card page

The readme file does not have anything listed about individual products. It only has information on what stylesheets are called.

This is the line I was seeing that I thought I would need to use:

          p_??.css // changes to a product's info page

I could make a new css file just for this product page, but don't know what to use for the ?? in the name listed above. I'm sure I'm missing something, but I don't see anything other readme files.

Re: layout issue with gift card page

You're gonna wanna slap yourself:P

p_??.css // changes to a product's info pageIf the product page is 16, the css would be p_16.css.

Terrifically hard, huh?

Re: layout issue with gift card page

I thought that would probably be the name. But, then I thought, "No, that would be too easy and make too much sense."

Sometimes scripting and coding (and even naming files), can make you really look like an idiot... and I don't need any extra help with that!

Thanks again for all your help.
