Can't edit pages in define editor pages

In the Define Pages Editor I have set the permissions too all pages to 777. I'm still not able to edit any of the pages. Any ideas?

Are you getting the red message at the top of the editor page when you try to edit a file ?

Then the problem is probably in your file permissions. Check those in your hosting account's file manager.

I have all permissions for those files set to 777. Is that correct?

I got it working!

If I'm not going to use a page, say the privacy page, can I disable that page so it won't be shown anywhere on the website?

Admin - Configuratin - Define Pages Status

There are places in the world which require a Privacy Statement though, unless that was just an example.
