[Done v1.3.9g] e-check cleared, still pending in Admin

I am using version 1.3.9d

An e-check cleared two days ago. The customer wrote to me saying she couldn't access her files. I looked in admin and it still says the e-check is pending. I checked my PayPal account and the e-check has cleared.

Can anybody help me fix this?

Sure. Go into your admin and update the order from Pending to Processing.

Before I upgraded to the d verson all my e-checks were being process automatically once the e-check cleared. Will I have this pending problem with all future e-checks or could this e-check transaction being a one off glitch?

That depends on the reason "why" it didn't get processed in the first place.
What do your IPN debug logs say about it?

Usually the problems immediately following an upgrade are a direct result of not upgrading all the files or not doing it properly.

Turn them on. Collect some logs from failed transactions. Zip up the files, and put the zip file on your server somewhere and PM me with a link to the zip file so I can download them for review.

I don't know what I'm doing. I turned on the log, then downloaded the log file but nothing was in it, so I've done something wrong! I'll ask a friend to do it for me tomorrow and I'll get back to you.

After you turn on the logging mode, you have to wait for new transactions to take place before any logging will be stored into log files.

Hello DrByte, I finally got another e-check, it has cleared at PayPal but still says pending in Admin. I have downloaded and zipped the log but I don't know how to PM you to give you the URL.

2 ways:

• click on his avatar in one of his posts. This will take you to his profile, select the contact tab
  or
• click on his name in one of his posts, and choose "send a private message" from the pulldown.

The following changes to ipn_main_handler.php (which will be in v1.3.9g) should solve the problem:
Line numbers are based on v1.3.9f:
In both cases, simply add the additional code to the end of each line, as shown:

line 158:```
