Make a fixed footer

I'm banging my head against the wall :bangin: trying to figure out how to make a fixed footer that stays on the very bottom of the page. If someone could please help me out it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Re: Make a fixed footer

Zencart *has *a fixed footer. A little more info about what you want to do and a link to the site would help.

Re: Make a fixed footer

Thanks for the quick response. Due to the site not being live yet I can't give you a link but to better understand my problem I attached some photos of my site below.

On the main webpage of my site the footer(black bottom bar) is flushed to the bottom of the page

On the shopping cart section the footer in now in the middle of the page.

I would like the footer to stay flush at the bottom when there is not that much content on the page such as my shopping cart section above. However I want the footer to stay at the bottom of all content when the content dosent fit the page.

Does this make sense? Please let me know if you want me to explain more.

Any help on how to achieve this would be great. Thanks

Mike

Re: Make a fixed footer

Add the following to the CSS for mainWrapper

min-height: xxxpx; where xxx is the minimum pixel height of the page. If it's bigger it'll push the footer down but it won't be any shorter than that size.

Re: Make a fixed footer

You want the browser height to be constant. The best way, in my opinion, is to have enough content on each page, but there are some ideas here:
