CK Editor not displaying after upgrading

cant find the support thread for the CK editor

but after installing this in the normal way on 4 sites i have had no bother untill i came to my last 2 sites to upgrade. Uploaded all the files... went to admin > store config and turned it on and now on my product details screen in admin there is no box to insert the product description.

Turn it off back to plain text and hay presto it comes back.

CK editor failure!

That solution you reference is, as the poster said, already built-in to the addon, back in May.

So:
a) make sure you've properly installed all the relevant files
b) make sure you've added any additional language files pertinent to your site
c) make sure you have no addons that are conflicting
d) make sure your browser is properly loading javascript (not disabled)
e) make sure your browser doesn't have broken cookies/cache, by clearing them and resetting the browser

As you say, it works fine on several of your sites, but not on another one. So, the problem must be in something you've done specially different on the one where it's not working.

it was a fresh 1.3.9d install couple a weekends ago.... just updated the old database and uploaded the templates and the mods. Normal procedure. Then 1.3.9e came out couple a days later (tipical lol)

i have no idea whats going on with this one..... well these 2 site as i getting the problem

a) make sure you've properly installed all the relevant files ---- all the files uploaded without problem and i have uploaded again still no joy
b) make sure you've added any additional language files pertinent to your site ---- all files uploaded and checked server all there
c) make sure you have no addons that are conflicting ---- very basic site only other mods are payment and admin profiles and easy populate
d) make sure your browser is properly loading javascript (not disabled) ---- working fine when i load other sites
e) make sure your browser doesn't have broken cookies/cache, by clearing them and resetting the browser ---- working fine when i load other sites and i have closed the browser and reopened to test but still no joy.

going to redownload the add on and try a fresh install of CKeditor maybe currupted file somewhere.

FIXED

downloaded a new version from here again and uploaded again and now working. must have been a currupted file in the download first time round

So ... now that you've created a rabbit-trail in another thread, perhaps you can go back and explain there that you've fixed it and what exactly you did to fix it?
