Navagation - how to skip pags?

I have a single shipping method and payment method for a store and want the user to skip these two pages. I cannot find docs on how to do this.

Thought about that but no, they use Auth.net module and do not want to switch. but thanks for the suggestion

Since we have only 1 choice, asking the user to click through both the only shipping option and the only payment option has the client asking me to skip both. It's a not-for-profit org and they think the process is too cumbersome and is turning folks away.

Has your client considered the fact that it's on those pages that the customer is given the option of changing their shipping or payment addresses? And also where the customer is given the opportunity to enter coupon codes, if they wish to redeem them.

Yes we have that covered - the Confirm Order page allows for a change to bill and ship-to. This is actually a ticket ordering system for a music and arts festival. 99% are 1st time purchases and all ticket orders are will-call (pick up at box office) and CC is the only payment option; so no shipping and no other payment option or coupons. To go directly to step 3, confirm order, would provide the necessary functionality.

Before I go and start hacking around I wanted to know if this has been done and if so what is the best method.

There are some 3rd party addons that change the whole checkout flow if you want to explore adding them to your site. Just be mindful that adding complex addons makes future upgrades more complicated ;)
