FCKEditor need help with instructions please

Please help! I'm confuse about the folders.

I unzipped the FCKeditor folder and in folder is Three Folders.

Admin (inside this folder is an includes folder), Editors, Myfiles

Instructions: then drag all three folders into the root folder for your site (that's the one with an includes folder already as well as images, cache, media and a number of others).

Now using FTP I go to public_html and then I click on the Shop/store Folder. Then I see a Admin Folder and a Includes folder and others.. which is the root folder (The one that says Admin or the one seperate that has the Includes Folder which has my Personalize template?

Where do I drag those 3 folders??? Do I just drag all 3 into the Admin Folder? Or do I drag them in the Includes Folder?

The root folder is the top directory of your store. It sounds like you have Zencart installed in yoursite.com/shop, so that's the place you'd drop the folders from the mod.

Re: FCKEditor need help with instructions please

Thanks steve!!! It worked!! I might have messed up in a few spots but it seems to work now.. When uploading a Pop Up said somethingsomethingEditor.php exist do you want to override.. (it has the same file name but different size) I got nervous so I skipped it...

Also Do I have to keep changing this Everything I want to upload images??

ps. I just checked and it's automatically set to 755 ?? What's the safe number 404 ? That's what tutorials tell me to do, but my other php file in Admin has 444 ??

thanks again!!

If you intend to use the file manager, for example for uploading and using image files directly in the editor, then change the permissions for the myfiles folder to 777 or 755 as advised by your web host. You may wish to change line 30 of the editor/filemanager/connectors/php/config.php file to true as by default it's false, which prevents the upload of files. However, please be aware that these steps can leave your site open to security vulnerabilities.
