Quantity box shows up on product listing page: Bug?

This never happened to me before, but whenever I add new products, it puts a quantity box on the products listing page. I've added many products before and this never happened to me until now. I compared the a product of the same category and everything is EXACTLY the same except for the title, description, and image.

I've tried a few things around in the configuration options in the admin but I can't seem to fix it. I'll try looking through the database to see if there is some sort of variable that sets it off. Thanks.

Using version 1.3.8a

Up until now, have all of your Products have Attributes on them?

Did you change anything recently?

What happens if you switch to the Classic Template?

Also ...

Check an Old Product, does it have the Display Quantity box turned off?

Check a New Product, does it have the Display Quantity box turned on?

Now this is quite peculiar..

I copied the attributes from an existing product of that category to the new problematic product, and the quantity box is gone from the products listing page! The quantity box still displays on the product's description page, just like all my other products.

My problem for the most part is solved, I'll try to find what triggers it in the attributes.

If I understand, it's not peculiar at all. When a product has attributes, you won't see the quantity box or 'Buy Now' button in the product listing, because the customer needs to go to the product info page to select attributes.

If your goal is to have the "more info" for Products that have or do not have attributes you just need to change 1 setting ...

Display Product Add to Cart Button (0=off; 1=on; 2=on with Qty Box per Product)
Do you want to display the Add to Cart Button?

NOTE: Turn OFF Display Multiple Products Qty Box Status to use Option 2 on with Qty Box per Product
