How can i see how much money my website is making!?

Hi Guys

I did read the FAQs but couldnt find anything.

All i need to know is how to generate a report to show how much my website makes on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. How can i do this?

Depends on what you mean by 'makes'.

There are several mods that report sales, etc. Search the Free Software Add Ons for 'repoert'.

Ok not profits, just sales in general. I want to see the the total (how much money did the website generate from sales) in a day, month or year. Probably quite simple, just treat me like a novice! :D

Install the Sales Report mod - easily configured and very useful.

ok thanks so ive got the mod. Now where in the store folder on the FTP do i stick the installation files, or is there an easier way. Again, ive check FAQ's for installing mods and cant find anything.

You need to unzip the package. In the package you will see a folder called "admin".

If your store admin folder has been renamed (as it should be) then rename the "admin" folder in the package to match the name of your admin folder on the site.

Open your FTP client and FTP the "admin" folder (renamed or not) from the package directly to the root of your store. -- DONE --

Log into your admin folder, click on Reports and you will see a new entry in the menu called Sales Report. Play around with it and enjoy looking at the $$ :smile:
