How to vertically align the item name in the shopping cart?

Hi,
I am nit-picking layouts through the store and one thing has eluded me so far.
I just cannot get the Item Name (as indicated in the attached image) to line up with the middle of the product image. The other items on the line are already centre-aligned ok (in my shop, not in the example).

I have tried these in all possible places and no change:
a) put valign="middle" in the tr and all the td
b) put style="vertical-align:middle" in the tr and all the td
c) put style="display:table-cell; vertical-align:middle" in the divs
d) put align="middle" in the img tag

I think its complicated because there are two spans (three for an out of stock product) inside a a href inside the div.

So, if anyone can make this line up just with css, I'm all ears.

regards
Steve

Re: How to vertically align the item name in the shopping cart?

If I understand the question, this works for me:

.cartProductDisplay {text-align:center;}

Re: How to vertically align the item name in the shopping cart?

Thanks for the reply,
but its not what I am looking for.
I am trying to move the text down not along, so it is vertically in the middle of its space (ie with the same distance above and below the text).
I think it will be easier to change the code in the template.
