Help required for total newbie

Hi

guys i want my site logo removing and changing to my own logo,how can i do this?

Please help.

Here is image of what i want removing;

Neither. You make the change using a text or code editor (such as NotePad++, not a word processor such as Word) and upload the resulting file as an override.

first create your logo as a gif file and call it logo.
then upload it to:

includes/templates/classic/images

This will over write the zen logo on the left side.

You can also create a background image for the logo as a jpg file and call it header_bg upload this to the same directory and it will replace the default image on the right.
if you want a white background you can either edit the style sheet and remove the background image or create small white header_bg image

I was actually asking about the name of the path to which you uploaded the file. But if that's what you've uploaded, then I wouldn't expect the text on your site to change.
